Nassau County Teen Says, “VOTE THEM ALL OUT!”

Here is an excerpt from the speech of Mike Jannis from the Dr. Peg Luksik Education Forum Mike hosted in Nassau County, New York on April 28, 2015.

New York has had Common Core for 2 years and we are thankful to the parents, teachers, taxpayers and politicians who have stood firm in the position of full repeal of Common Core. Our statement today is that we owe an apology to anyone who voted for the politicians who got elected and we supported who said they would repeal Common Core.

Assemblyman Al Graff has a full repeal of Common Core Bill number A05142 which has plenty of cosponsors but we are being told there will be NO companion bill in the Senate.

We apologize if we supported them. It is so sad. It is so sad that politicians are using our children for their political gain. Our children are hurting. Parents, teachers, and taxpayers are looking for a champion. The children don’t have one. We need a champion NOW. Ladies and gentlemen, join us in this mission. If the politicans won’t do the job we hired them to do.

Then we must vote them ALL OUT.
